How to Use WriteMyLyrics

1. Enter Topic / Concept — be specific. "Losing my dog after 12 years" works better than "sadness."
2. Select Genre.
3. Select Moods — you can pick multiple.
4. Choose Song Structure.
5. Set Tempo.
6. Choose Rhyme Scheme.
7. Set Point of View.
8. Optionally add Words to Include, Style Notes, Write in the Style of an artist name, and Language.
9. Click Write This Song.

• More specific topic = better lyrics.
• Combining moods gives more nuanced results.
• The Style of field is powerful — try different artists for the same song.

Templates are pre-filled studio settings that get you started instantly.

Click Start from a Template at the top of the studio. Pick a template. Customize any field. Click Write This Song.

Songs save automatically to Song History for Pro and Unlimited users. Access from the history icon in the sidebar.

Suno (suno.com) is an AI music generator. WriteMyLyrics writes the lyrics and chord progressions — Suno generates the full musical track.

1. Generate your lyrics in WriteMyLyrics.
2. Click the Suno button in the action bar above the lyrics.
3. Copy the formatted lyrics and style prompt that appears.
4. Go to suno.com and paste into a new song creation.
5. Suno generates the full song with music.

After Suno generates your song, copy the audio URL and paste it into the Suno Audio URL field in the Song Notes panel. This saves it to your song permanently and enables the audio player in the Gallery.

Karaoke Mode highlights your lyrics in real time as music plays, word by word. Requires a direct audio URL (not a Suno share page link).

Right-click the audio player in Suno and select Copy audio address — use the direct .mp3 URL, not the song page URL.

1. Open your song in the studio.
2. Click the Karaoke icon in the sidebar.
3. Paste the direct audio URL or upload an MP3 file.
4. Click Auto Sync — Whisper AI automatically matches your lyrics to the audio. Takes 10–30 seconds.
5. Click Play — lyrics highlight word by word in sync with the music.
6. Click Save Sync to save the timing permanently to your song.

Generates 3 short, punchy hook lines based on your song. Each hook is 15 seconds or less when spoken aloud. Available on all plans.

1. Generate a song.
2. Click TikTok Hooks in the action bar above the lyrics.
3. Three hooks appear, each from a different emotional angle.
4. Click Copy on any hook to copy it to clipboard.

A public space where users share songs, vote on favorites, and discover new music from around the world.

Go to Song History, find your song, and toggle the Publish button on. Your song appears in the Gallery with your username, genre, mood tags, vote count, and an audio player if you've saved a Suno audio URL.

Click the flame 🔥 icon on any song to vote. Songs appear in This Week's Top 10 (rolling 7-day window) and Hall of Fame (all-time top songs).

Use the genre filter tabs or search bar to find songs by title. Unpublish at any time by toggling Publish off.

Every published song gets a permanent public URL at writemylyrics.ai/song/[id]. No login required to view.

1. Publish your song (toggle Publish on in the Song Notes panel).
2. Go to Song History.
3. Click the Share button on the song card.
4. The URL is copied to your clipboard automatically.

Title, author name, genre, full lyrics, vote count, audio player (if audio URL is saved), and a Write Your Own call to action.

Co-writer Mode is available on Pro and Unlimited plans.

1. Go to Song History.
2. Click Co-writers on any song card.
3. Enter your collaborator's email address.
4. Send the invite. They'll see the shared song in their own Song History.

Co-writers click Suggest Changes on the shared song, write their lyric revision and an optional comment, then submit.

The song owner clicks Suggestions on the song card to review each submission. Click Accept to apply the new lyrics or Reject to dismiss.

Click your plan badge in the top-right corner or click Upgrade on any locked feature.

Cancel anytime from account settings. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Click the globe 🌐 icon in the navigation bar and select your language. Your preference saves automatically.

Interface language and lyrics language are separate settings. The globe icon changes the UI language. The Language field in the studio controls the language your lyrics are written in.
